Nothing like being on perimeters when things were going sideways and left and right. Staring over at Reese she groaned and rubbed her eyes, though she was carefully watching the area. Between the gunfire that had gone off at the bird bath earlier and WhitTech being a prime target she did the best she could to stay awake. Lizzie hadn't been getting much sleep lately; but that's probably how she got stuck on perimeters.

With that being said she got out to do perimeter walks sticking her earpiece to the radio in her ear, just in case she needed it. Though she had it turned down low so that it wouldn't distract her attention if it came blaring alive. Nearby rustling caught her attention. The figure of a person was there and Liz reacted with her training and reached out to trip the person. The first of many non life threatening tactical decisions to be made at the moment.

Malachi had managed to get another hair brained scheme into his head. Working as a diplomat all day and being stuck with trying to work out the best way to shut people up without doing what he did best was a challenge. Mainly a women who had been talking none stop about her boyfriend, how great he was because he always did the most amazing things. An hour later and her parting comment was that she felt better in telling him all that and they really clicked, like he totally got her.

In truth he totally had a bad case of lock the door and never come out to meet another talkative human being in his life. Yes that worked but the moral of the story that he managed to get was he needed to be more like this boyfriend. Do a nice this now and again. It wasnt that Malachi didn’t try, no he did but he had his own way of doing things. He reasoned that Lizzie was part American so in such, maybe he needed to try out the ‘be more American’ and ‘boyfriend’ like even if they were married.

With that in mind Malachi stopped by the florist after work, picking up Lizzie’s favourite flowers and decided to surprise her at work. The skill set he had meant that keeping an eye on where Lizzie was, was a need and in such Malachi had given her jewellery that made tracking her easy. In a hope that if the worst happened he could find her fast. In this case it just worked because it wouldn’t be a surprise if he had to call ahead.

Malachi drove to the address that he knew was her boss, it showed that she was outside their home. Normal he figured for security, Malachi hadn’t heard any news or listened to the incidents in the city. No it was a mind numbing day at work and now he was trying to do something nice for his wife. Flowers in hand Malachi made his way onto the property, Lizzie wasn’t by a front door or path so hopping a fence and searching around was second nature as he didnt make a big deal of it.

He was less stealth like and more big foot like just for the sake of people not getting the wrong idea. That was until he found himself being tripped. Malachi stumbled to the floor as he reached to grab at the leg that had tripped him. That was until he dropped it immediately not making another move seeing who it was as he smiled at Lizzie. “Hey honey.” Malachi said as if this was the most normal thing in the world. Well he had at least found the person he was looking for though not to expect security was a fault on his part. Maybe telling her he was coming to see her would have been advisable before he killed anyone for it.
